Intake Requests

  • We are currently CLOSED for intakes.

  • You can still fill out this form to join our intake waitlist, but we encourage you to get any strays spayed/neutered, contact other rescues, and look for good homes in the meantime since we have limited space.

  • If you fill out this form and find help somewhere else please let us know so we can remove you from our waitlist.

  • The first step to surrendering to Little Muffins Kitten Rescue is fill out this form.

  • We primarily intake strays and rarely intake owner surrenders.

  • We are located in Richmond, KY and primarily intake from Madison County and the surrounding areas. You must be able to bring any cats and kittens you are surrendering to Little Muffins Kitten Rescue.

  • We are a home and foster based rescue with limited space. We are usually only able to intake one set of new cats/kittens every 2 weeks.

  • Once you relinquish the cat, the cat will not be available to be returned. The cats care will be our responsibility and although we like to share updates when we can we are not obligated to. If you are surrendering a stray cat you are welcome to fill out an adoption application once they are vetted and available for adoption.

  • Since we have limited space if you can foster in your home we are more likely to be able to help.

    Our requirements to foster are:
    1) that you are located in Richmond, KY
    2) that you have a place they can keep foster cat(s) separate from your pets if/when needed
    3) all of your pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccines, and annual vet care.

  • Each cat or kitten costs our rescue approximately $300 to vet and care for while they are waiting to be adopted. Due to this donations are encouraged and if you can donate we will be more likely to be able to help as we are a non-profit run entirely on donations and adoption fees

  • Once you have filled out our application, we will review it and get back to you as soon as possible. Please be patient while we are taking the time to review applications.

  • **Make sure to double check for typos in your contact info and to check your spam folder for a response, especially if you haven't heard from us for a few days**

  • We encourage you to send us a message through social media, text, or email letting us know that you submitted an application. That way we can easily get back to you.
